Paul Doyle 14.07.2008I found the hotel to be of a good overall standard. However I found the breakfast experience to be less than welcoming. Breakfast is served until 10.30am with a good selection of good quality food. On our first morning my wife and I came down for breakfast at 10.15am and were met with less than friendly service. The staff crowded over us and looked on with faces of contempt for what in their opinion was our late appearance for breakfast. We made a point of coming down well before 10 am every other morning to ensure we were not met with such a rude reception. This was simply not good enough. As a paying guess I would expect that I could arrive for breakfast within the times stated and not be met with hostility. We found the experience of that first morning very off putting and would have moved hotels if our weeks stay had not been paid for in advance. My assumption was and correct me if I am wrong that the staff of a hotel should accommodate their guests and not the guests accommodating the staff. On these grounds we would not stay in the Movenpick Prague again and would not recommend it to our friends. Sincerely Paul Doyle.
