KENTAURUS PRAHA Terms & Conditions

  1. General
    General business terms are valid for individual reservations made via web application Kentaurus. A maximum of 3 rooms can be booked on-line at a given time by the same person. Reservations of greater number of rooms are carried out on request via our on-line email address. It is not allowed to split up the need of more than 3 rooms into more reservations of maximum 3 rooms at a time.
  2. Kentaurus arranges every reservation as an individual booking. Subsequent sale of rooms reserved at Kentaurus is prohibited. Further arrangement of rooms to third parties for higher prices than in the Kentaurus system is not allowed. Neither it is allowed to pass or sell the claim against hotel. In such cases the hotel or Kentaurus has the right to cancel the reservation.

    The booking process only asks as mandatory the details of the lead person. In cases where more than one person is booked through our system, the lead person will be responsible to make sure that the rest of the group he or she books for understands and agrees with the Terms and Conditions.

  3. Payments
    The contract for appropriate operation comes into existence during the reservation directly between you (the person booking) and Kentaurus. If your booking type is “available”, the payment options will prompt on the screen automatically where: a) you can pay a 10 EUR FEE* (advance payment) straight away and the remaining amount within the 3 days prior to your accommodation arrival b) pay straight away the total amount of your booking in full. (FEE* to be deducted from the total when paying the remaining amount). Remaining amount to be paid within the stated period, otherwise the booking will be cancelled automatically. (Refer to point 5. Cancellations for further information).

    Bookings on “request” have to wait for a confirmation e-mail (it can take up to 24 working hours). If the booking on request is confirmed, the payment options will follow the same procedure as the booking type “available”. If no payment is made within 24hours after a booking confirmation, the accommodation will be cancelled.

    All agreed prices are paid to kentaurus through the payment options on-line. Payments are carried out by credit card VISA or MASTERCARD via our secure on-line system PAY MUZO and PayPal. The booking process is sent to the customer in the form of e-mails with attachments, where the final accommodation VOUCHER is found once the booking is paid in full. VOUCHER to be presented upon arrival at the chosen accommodation.
  4. Your reservation stays in the hotel until 6 pm on the arrival day. If you do not arrive at your accommodation before the stated time (6pm) and do not notify the hotel/us, the hotel can cancel your reservation. If this was the case, this will be considered as a “no show”. (refer to next paragraph).

    If you fail to turn up (no show) you will be charged with the price of the first night. As the reservation has already been paid for, Kentaurus will return the rest of the money on behalf of the credit card company within 7 working days. 3% can be deducted from the rest of the customer’s money to cover charges connected herewith.
  5. Cancellations
    Cancellations* can be done 2 days prior to arrival until 12 pm at the latest. The amount paid will be returned on behalf of the credit card company within 7 working days. (* 10 EUR cancellation FEE will be deducted from the amount paid). If a client only pays the 10 EUR FEE (advance payment) and fails to pay the remaining amount within the stated period/time or cancels the booking, the FEE will be non-refundable. When full amounts are paid straight away on-line but a cancellation occurs, the customer will also loose a 10 EUR cancellation FEE. Note that Kentaurus will always charge 10 EUR FEE every single time a cancellation occurs, with no exception.
  6. Hotel Categories
    The common international hotel classification according to stars provides non binding information about the hotel standard. The hotel classification given here is based on our own hotel assessment. Any further additional information about the hotel is based on the data given by the hotels.
  7. Prices
    All Kentaurus prices are special prices for the appropriate year including advantaged tariffs. All stated prices are valid for a room and night including breakfast and all charges (tourist charges, taxes and VAT).This standard Bed and Breakfast (BB) can be upgraded to a Half Board (HB) or a Full Board (FB) for an extra charge. Half Board includes: room and night per person, breakfast, all charges (tourist charges, taxes and VAT) and one other meal (usually dinner). Full Board: room and night per person, all charges (tourist charges, taxes and VAT) and all three daily meals. Timetables and other especial requirements for these categories (BB, HB and FB) to be indicated upon to hotel arrival. Note that these categories' specifications and offers might vary depending on hotel.

    All prices are subject to continuous update. In spite of this it cannot be ruled out that the rooms will not be available for the price stated in the list of hotels. The same applies to: extra services, especial offers and last minute offers. All prices are given in Euro*; other currencies present, represent orientation prices only. Airport transfer prices are per person per one way unless otherwise stated. (service not available in all hotels listed. Prices might vary depending on hotel choice).

    *Currency converter - EUR to CZK (Czech Koruna) and vice versa will be based on the latest daily currency exchange update. Your booking will only include what is listed in the payment summary on-line before you procedure to pay, anything else is not included in the total price (unless otherwise stated).
  8. Personal Data Protection & Privacy Policy
    Kentaurus takes very seriously customer’s data protection and privacy. Data provided by customers is electronically processed by Kentaurus which is used for reservation and administrative purposes. When recording this data, the regulations for personal data protection are consistently adhered to. Occasionally you might receive new promotions, newsletters and other selected offers and information from us that we believe might be in your interest. Your personal data will not be used in any other way without your consent and will not be provided to third parties.
  9. Miscellaneous
    Clients will be informed in advance if any amendments or changes were to be carried out to their bookings/services once they have been confirmed/paid. Once changes or amendments are agreed between the client and kentaurus (if there were any), it will be the client's responsibility to adjust to new agreed terms/changes/amendments.

    All data are stated with diligent care. However the possibility for possible mistakes in records or during data transfer is ruled out. Kentaurus reserves the right to make any change/-s or/and amendment/-s temporarily or/and suspend the material/-s displayed in this website without any notice if necessary.

    The Czech law is valid. Place of fulfillment is in Prague. For businessmen and people without general Czech territorial jurisdiction is the seat of the territorially competent court in Prague. Otherwise the jurisdiction is stipulated in the law.
